Managing Partner Farhad Alavi appeared on National Public Radio’s (NPR) All Things Considered today, September 20, 2017, on a piece concerning the potential impact the Trump Administration’s Iran policy could have on commercial aircraft manufacturer Boeing’s intended sales to that country.

Mr. Alavi regularly advises clients around the world ranging from major multinationals to high net worth individuals on sanctions compliance and policy issues, and more broadly the firm represents clients before the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry & Security (BIS) and the US Department of Justice (DOJ) on civil and criminal enforcement matters concerning sanctions issues.
