Akrivis Law Group, PLLC Managing Partner Farhad Alavi will speak on banking and anti-money laundering / Due Diligence matters at the annual Global Trade Development Week (GTDW) conference in Dubai on October 29, 2015. Mr. Alavi will specifically be a panelist on a discussion titled Interpreting Basel III and Other Regulatory Constraints (AML/KYC): Impact on International Trade.
The GTDW is held under the patronage of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Economy. The keynote speaker will be H.E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy of the UAE, and Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary-General, of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and Ms. Arancha Gonzalez, Executive Director, International Trade Centre (ITC). The conference will be at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Ritz Carlton Hotel from October 27-29, 2015.
